U4gm Arc Raiders Emperor Loot and Exit Planning Guide
Update 2.3.0 changes the way players should approach the Emperor. Containers close to the entrance now offer lower-tier rewards, while opportunities for higher-tier loot lie farther inside. For players planning a raid around objectives, equipment, and ARC Raiders BluePrints, the decision is no longer simply whether to enter, but how much risk to accept once inside.
The first few containers can still be useful, especially when the Emperor sits along a route you were already planning to take. They are less compelling, however, as the sole reason to commit to a long detour. A successful visit starts with a clear purpose and a willingness to leave when the situation changes.
Plan Around Your Primary Objective
A quick visit makes sense when a nearby objective brings you close to the Emperor and your extraction route remains manageable. Search the accessible containers, collect anything that improves your loadout, and keep moving. This approach limits the time spent in a contested area and leaves more room for the rest of the raid.
Before entering, check your ammunition, healing supplies, and carrying capacity. If your pack already holds valuable items, ask whether a few additional containers are worth exposing that progress. A modest haul safely extracted can be more useful than a promising run cut short.
What Changes on a Deeper Run
Players looking for better loot have a stronger reason to move beyond the entrance after this update. That deeper route also requires more time and can make retreat harder. Moving from one room to the next without a plan may leave you dealing with threats while your nearest exit grows less convenient.
Treat each section as a decision point rather than committing to a full search immediately. Listen for nearby players and ARC activity, assess your remaining supplies, and consider how long it will take to get out. Higher-tier opportunities are positioned deeper inside, but no individual container should be treated as a guaranteed reward.
Know When to Turn Back
Threats can change quickly. Gunfire near your intended exit, signs of another squad, or an unexpected encounter can make a previously reasonable route too costly. If you have taken damage or used more ammunition than expected, leaving early may preserve both your gear and the items already collected.
Also consider whether your planned exit is still practical. A deeper search is easier to justify when you know at least one workable way out and have enough supplies to reach it. If your inventory is full or contains something you would hate to lose, the value of another search may no longer outweigh the risk.
Ultimately, the Emperor rewards deliberate decisions rather than automatic commitments. Whether you are pursuing ARC Raiders buy BluePrints options or simply trying to extract with a useful haul, match the depth of your search to your objective, current threats, and available exit routes.
